Nestled in the heart of Buckingham, we at Canvas are experts in picture framing and art materials, with everything you could imagine for the experienced or budding artist.

Brimming with knowledge, our staff are happy to offer help and advice on anything from paints, easels and mediums, to creating your perfect framed masterpiece.

With over 150 different frames and mounts to choose from, and in the hands of our experienced framer Mike, a member of the Fine Art Guild, we can create a beautiful framed picture for you. We can even print it onto canvas. And Mike doesn’t stop at pictures – he can frame almost anything: books, t-shirts, horseshoes … the list goes on.

We have a team of incredibly inspiring local artists running a variety of different art courses in our studio in central Buckingham. As well as nurturing tried and tested talent, we run courses for absolute beginners, after-school and school holiday clubs for children and even Arty Parties, where a massive canvas, loads of paint and a glass of wine are all you need to feel inspired!

Recommend a Friend Scheme Launched for April 2009

Pick up a card from the School or the shop - fill it in and hand it to a friend you think might be interested in booking on one of our courses and earn yourself a £5 pound voucher for your trouble.

A simple way to introduce a friend to our great courses.

There is no limit to the amount of people you can recommend us to - and therefore no limit to the amount of vouchers you can receive from us.
Make sure your friend hands us the card on booking a course to ensure you receive your voucher.
The only restriction we have is that the person you are recommending us to must not have been on one of our courses previously.

STUDIO SPACE FOR RENT IN OUR ART SCHOOL

Our art school rooms can be rented for a one-off function or on a regular weekly or monthly basis. Suitable for any type of class (dance, yoga, craft, language, etc.), or family function, the rooms are ideally situated near the car park, are warm and clean and make for a friendly venue.
